The FCA has today published its interim feedback statement (FS25/2) on the review of FCA requirements following the introduction of the Consumer Duty. This is accompanied by the publication of the FCA’s Strategy 2025-30, which sets out its vision and priorities for the next five years. The Statement includes a workplan which includes areas the FCA will action immediately, and further areas it wants to discuss with stakeholders before setting out further detail in September.

FCA review of firms’ approaches to consumer support
The FCA has published a good and poor practice report on how firms are approaching the consumer support outcome of the Consumer Duty. This follows an initial quantitative survey by the FCA of 407 retail financial services firms across the banking, insurance, payments, consumer finance, and investments sectors. We understand that some of our firms were part of this survey.
