The IA is opening an exploratory consultation on the future of the Investment Association’s Mixed Investment sectors, including the Volatility Managed sector. We are seeking to discuss some of the key issues with the industry ahead of a more focused consultation.

EFRAG launched a consultation on ESRS-40a in July on the proposed European Sustainability Reporting Standards for certain non-EU groups with significant operations in the EU.

The IA is circulating its draft response to FCA CP26/26: Fund Reporting for Asset Management Entities (FRAME) for initial member comment by COB 22 September 2026.

In addition, the FCA has published CP26/32: Quarterly Consultation Paper No. 53, which contains proposals relating to regulatory reporting for Money Market Funds. The response deadline for this consultation is 12 October 2026 and so we would appreciate early comments from members.

The Investment Association and The ValueExchange are inviting market participants to take part in the Q3 2026 UK T+1 Pulse Survey.

This 15‑minute survey will explore industry progress towards the UK's move to T+1 settlement, including readiness against key Accelerated Settlement Taskforce milestones, operational preparedness, automation, service-provider readiness, budgeting and market testing plans. Participants will receive a personalised benchmarking scorecard comparing their responses with industry peers. The survey is anonymous and open until 1 October 2026.

The FCA has proposed minor amendments to the CCI rules to correct errors and provide clarifications as part of the the latest Quarterly Consultation, CP26/32. The consultation period runs for five weeks ending on Monday 12 October.

The IA is hosting a virtual member roundtable to gather initial views on the Acas consultation on its draft Code of Practice on disciplinary and grievance procedures on 7 September from 11:00-12:30. The consultation proposes a significant update to the current Code, with a stronger emphasis on early and informal resolution of workplace concerns and revised guidance on how employers manage disciplinary and grievance matters.
