ESAs designate critical ICT third-party providers under DORA

The European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, EIOPA, and ESMA – the ESAs) have published the list of designated critical ICT third-party providers (CTPPs) under the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

Publication: Bridging the Adoption Gap - Aligning Digital Asset Offerings with Buy Side Requirements

In conjunction with the FCA and Singaporean colleagues at the regulator MAS and trade body IMAS, the IA has published a paper outlining ways to bridge the digital assets “adoption gap”, where firms are limited in their ability to fully realise the benefits of tokenisation.

Budget Season 2025: IA publishes consumer pulse survey exploring attitudes towards investing and UK pensions policy

The IA has published its latest consumer pulse survey in partnership with Opinium, exploring UK adults’ attitudes towards investing, pensions policy and investing in the UK ahead of the Autumn Budget.

Government has laid legislation to regulate ESG ratings providers

On Monday 27 October, the government laid secondary legislation to bring ESG ratings providers within the FCA's regulatory perimeter. The new legislation can be found here

Laying this legislation now allows the FCA to consult on its proposed framework for regulating ESG ratings providers - the FCA have already announced they plan to consult before the end of the year.
