Investment Association supports Hampton-Alexander Review's drive to improve gender balance in FTSE leadership

Following the Hampton-Alexander Review's launch of their FTSE Women Leaders report, Chris Cummings, Chief Executive of the IA, said:
“Improving all forms of diversity across listed companies and financial services is an important goal and the Investment Association, which represents investment managers who oversee £5.7 trillion of assets, supports a number of related initiatives including the Hampton-Alexander Review.
“The Hampton Alexander Review's focus on improving representation of women in the FTSE 100 executive pipeline is another welcome development. As investors we look forward to working with FTSE 100 companies to deliver the 33% target by 2020.”
