Understanding the Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative

In December 2020, the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative was launched. Now involving investment managers with nearly 40% of total assets under management globally, the initiative is designed to encourage effective action by investment managers towards achieving the goal of global net zero emissions by 2050 or sooner.

Following an introduction from the UK’s COP26 Private Finance team, IIGCC will provide an overview of the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative. The session will cover the key requirements and benefits for investment managers joining the initiative, how the initiative operates and how investment managers can join.
