We publish regular statistics and insights on how UK savers are choosing to invest, as well as on the wider trends in the UK investment management industry.

Each month, we collect detailed information about investment fund sales to UK retail savers and to institutional investors, such as insurance companies or pension schemes.

Mostly these funds are UK based and FCA authorised, in the form of unit trusts and open-ended-investment-companies, known as OEICs (as well as a small number of authorised contractual schemes). However there are some funds based in other countries, notably Luxembourg and Ireland.

Each year in September, we publish our ‘Investment Management in the UK’ survey. This provides a definitive and comprehensive review of what investment managers in the UK have been up to, including how they invest and their contribution to the economy. You can download the latest survey here.
